Solutions Innoptech Inc. (the "Company") places great importance on your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our website or use our services. It also explains how you can exercise your rights.  

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Those sites are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

"Personal information" means any information that relates to an individual and allows, directly or indirectly, that individual to be identified, such as a name,date of birth, identification document, or one or more characteristics specificto their identity.

How do we collect your personal information?

We collect your personal information, including when you:

  • browse our website;
  • submit our contact form;
  • communicate with us by phone, email, or any other means; or
  • create an account on our platform.

What do we collect and why?

We will only collect, use, and disclose your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we obtained your consent, or for other purposes permitted or required by law.

When you browse our website

We collect basic, anonymous browsing data such as pages visited, session duration, device type, and country, to analyze website traffic and improve our services. We use Umami Cloud for this purpose. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. The data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.  

We use one preference cookie ("vf_lang") to remember your language selection. This cookie is stored on your device for 30 days and contains no personal information.

When you submit our contact form

We collect your name, email address, organization, and message to respond to your request.

When you create an account

We collect your name, email address, and language preference to create your account, provide our services, and communicate with you.

How do we obtain your consent?

In some cases, we ask for your explicit consent. In others, consent may be implicit, inferred from your actions or the circumstances.

If we wish to use your personal information for a purpose not indicated at the time of collection, or for a purpose not provided for by law, we will ask for your consent again before doing so.

With whom do we share your personal information?

We may share your personal information with service providers who act on our behalf. We require these third parties to protect your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, through written agreements and commitments.

Our current service providers include:

  • Webflow: website hosting and development (servers in the United States)
  • Umami Cloud: anonymous website analytics, no personal data collected

We may also disclose your personal information when required by law, court order, or other legitimate legal request, including to courts, law enforcement agencies, and other public bodies.

How long do we retain your personal information?

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes identified in this policy, or as required by law, for example in the event of a dispute.

Where do we store your personal information?

We store personal information on servers located in Canada and the United States. Your information may be held in any country where our service providers operate.

If we transfer personal information outside Quebec, we ensure it receives a level of protection equivalent to that provided under Quebec law, through contractual measures.

How do we protect your personal information?

We implement reasonable security procedures to protect your personal information, whether stored on our servers or with a service provider. Only authorized individuals have access to your information.

No security measure is absolute. If you believe your interaction with us has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@innoptech.com.

Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access and copy. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy.
  • Correction. If your information is inaccurate, incomplete, or   ambiguous, or if its collection, disclosure, or retention is not authorized by law, you may request that it be corrected.
  • Deletion. If your information is outdated or its retention is no longer authorized by law, you may request deletion.
  • Withdrawal of consent. You may withdraw your consent to our use or disclosure of your personal information at any time. In most cases, withdrawal of consent means we will no longer be able to respond to your request or provide the requested products and services. We will inform you of the consequences of your request in our response.

To exercise any of these rights, please send a written request to our Privacy Officer at privacy@innoptech.com. We may ask you to provide proof of identity before responding. This information will only be used to verify your identity.

Notice for U.S. residents

California residents (CalOPPA)

This policy applies to California residents. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Our website does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites.

California residents may contact us at privacy@innoptech.com to request information about personal data we hold, request deletion, or opt out of any future data sharing.

CCPA notice

Innoptech does not currently meet the thresholds requiring full CCPA compliance. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
